Steering Group Decisions regarding Network Meetings and Lambeth Conference

  1. Invite the Youth Officer and a young person from each province to a Gathering in 2007 which will:
    • Consider growth and development of  IAYN
    • Develop the IAYN contribution to the Lambeth Conference (Workshops, Magazine, display)
    •  Review ministry with young people across the communion. 

(This is with a proviso that numbers of young people shall be increased if resources permit)

It is also intended to invite the Archbishop of Canterbury to this event.

  1. Develop a magazine for Lambeth Conference profiling the network and the churches ministry with young people
  2. Respond to the ACO offering to lead workshops at Lambeth Conference and also to work collaboratively in the planning and delivery of the Stewarding programme. We wish to stress the need for stewards to be drawn from among young adults across the communion.
  3. Develop prayer and liturgy for use in churches with and for young people and also at Lambeth Conference
